After months of preparation, C and S finally tied the knot! C was a beautiful bride in her Alana Hill dress and S looked dapper in a Hugo Boss suit. Congrats!
It was the perfect day for a wedding. The weather was lovely, the view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge was beautiful and to cap it off, the lunch at ARIA was fantastic.
Our 3 course meal started with an amuse bouche of creamy carrot soup. Because we were a small party, we were able to make our own selections for entrees, mains and dessert.
I chose the scallops, lamb and passionfruit dumplings, and I loved each dish. Scallops are my favourite and these were perfectly cooked. My dessert was quite tart which I really enjoyed. The dumpling itself had a similar texture to glutinous rice balls but these ones were filled with melted milk chocolate and passionfruit juice.
Each dish was presented beautifully. From the satisfied smiles and whispered "mmms and yums" at the table, it's safe to say that lunch was a resounding success.
So without further ado, here are some photos of what we had for lunch.
